SAIKO’s international Sector focuses generally on exchange and foreign degree students in tutoring and organizing international events. In addition to these we give information and offer guidance for their own studies and students who are interested in meeting foreign students.

The International Tutors organize and implement activities, parties and meetings for exchange students in Imatra and Lappeenranta and even other parts of Finland. International Tutors have an important task which is to help exchange/foreign students adapt to living in Finland and have them integrate with other students in the university.

The International Tutor operations include and are also involved in many other interested parties, such as the institutes’ International Office, SAIKO’s members, the other student associations, International congregations and many others.

Also you have the opportunity to participate in International Operations if you are truly motivated. Tutors practice their language skills boldly with foreign students at school by being involved in events or even just in the classroom.
