Saimaa University of Applied Sciences’ Student Union (SAIKO) is the student association, which promotes and supervises the students' interests, in particular educational and social political issues. SAIKO also works with students and other stakeholders, seeking to develop a link between teaching and learning content.
 
Independent study room available

Finally there will be an independent study room for students use. Located in the front corner of Saimia building next to International Affairs Office, room 1135. This room is also available after school hours if you have an access control key to the building.
